Chris Steiner smiling at the camera

Christoph Steiner · Graz

Hi, I'm Chris.

I make technical subjects easy to understand and support sim racers in their practice. At C-Motion, you work with me personally. With open conversations, straight talk and room for a laugh. I'm glad you're here.

Everyone brings their own story.

Everyone brings their own story. Different experiences, different goals and a different way of learning. I'm interested in what helps you. That's what I adapt to as a coach.

A particularly good moment is when you notice a difference for yourself. When you understand what the car is doing or what makes learning easier for you. And suddenly something clicks.

We work towards those moments together. That's what I enjoy. I say openly when something isn't working. We look at how to move forward together. And humour is part of it too.

How C-Motion came together.

Technology has always interested me. PCs, gaming and video editing are part of that. I worked on small editing projects and helped my brother with his gaming channel on YouTube.

I'm a proper petrolhead. I feel at home where there's the smell of fuel and rubber. As a master automotive technician, and through my work on technical projects, I bring experience from the automotive world. I also got to know Formula 1 through my security work with CAM.

C-Motion brings these interests together. I wanted to work on something of my own. I enjoy working as part of a team and explaining things clearly. I bring both to our work together.

My first day in an X-Bow.

A birthday gift from my fiancée took me to the Red Bull Ring's South circuit in June 2024. In a KTM X-Bow, I had my first proper track experience as a driver. I had prepared in the simulator.

Now I could experience the techniques I had practised in a real car. Braking into the corner was especially interesting. Then there were the G-forces, the rotation of the car and the grip in the final corner as the suspension compressed. That experience has stayed with me.

What I want to work towards.

An early start in motorsport wasn't possible for me. Through sim racing, I want to open up more opportunities for people in Austria to get into driving. I want young talents to be able to discover and develop their skills. Opportunities for young women who want to find their way in motorsport are especially important to me too.

What we can work on together.
