Private Driver Programme
Foundation
A private technical and driving foundation for ambitious sim racers who no longer want to practise at random. Four clearly defined modules, personal guidance and a robust conclusion — without pretending the complete curriculum fits into fifty hours.
The programme begins with 90 days — not a long-term gamble.
Foundation is a selective Private Programme. Before a long commitment, both sides use real work to test whether the goal, practice reality, communication and method genuinely fit.
Starting point
Goal, background, time, budget, equipment and expectations are pre-qualified.
Paid fit check
A Performance Diagnostic or equivalent assessment before admission.
Entry phase
Approximately 12 live hours, baseline work, first learning blocks and observable independent practice.
Decision
Continue, adjust the scope or end cleanly without artificial pressure.
Who the Foundation is built for
- You can practise regularly between sessions.
- You are prepared to share data, replays and honest feedback.
- You measure progress through competence rather than personal bests alone.
- You treat appointments, communication and data delivery reliably.
- You value time efficiency and system over the number of appointments.
- You raise technical or health limitations openly so the plan can account for them.
For people who value quality and time more than trial and error.
This programme is not designed for buyers seeking the largest number of appointments at the lowest price. It is for people who want to use limited leisure time professionally and value a direct, discreet relationship with one coach.
Time is the constraint
You no longer want to spend practice time on unclear causes, random settings and contradictory tips.
Quality over volume
You would rather invest in a prepared process than in a long series of disconnected single sessions.
Direct responsibility
You work with Chris throughout. Your patterns, decisions and progress do not need to be re-explained every time.
Outcome over status
You are not buying a certificate or a rating promise, but more control, understanding and enjoyment.
You are not buying an hour bundle. You are reserving a managed development process.
Live coaching is only the visible part. Between sessions, data is reviewed, exercises are prepared, reference driving is completed and the learning plan is updated.
Every session begins with a clear learning objective and ends with a concrete next task.
Telemetry, replays and video are translated into cause and effect outside the call.
Exercises, comparison data, checklists and explanations are built around your current bottleneck.
Backlog, reviews, time accounts and priorities remain transparent over months.
Four modules become three understandable decisions.
The detailed syllabus remains available below. For the buying and review decision, the important question is which capability must become reliable in each phase.
A reliable starting point
Equipment, ergonomics, data quality, inputs and learning priorities become stable enough for driving technique to be trained properly.
- Technical Foundation
- Driver Baseline
- first competence and practice status
Corners become predictable
Vision, reference points, corner phases and line move from intuitive reaction to a repeatable process.
- reference systems
- turn-in, apex and exit logic
- transfer to new corners
Braking becomes controllable
Brake pressure, release, ABS and trail braking are integrated and assessed against the original baseline.
- pressure and release
- steering-brake coordination
- post-Foundation roadmap
90-day review: the working relationship, data quality, independent work and early competence development determine whether the full programme should continue.
The syllabus is clear. The order remains intelligent.
The modules define the professional scope. Within that framework, the sequence adapts to your baseline, progress and evidence from practice and racing.
Technical Foundation
Is your system reliable enough for you to train driving rather than compensate for hardware errors?
- Brake signal, noise and calibration
- Ergonomics, FFB and FOV
- Motion, harness, VR or triple screens
- Discord, audio and Garage61
Outcome: A documented technical baseline and a reliable setup for the rest of the programme.
Driver Baseline
Which patterns shape your driving, perception and learning rhythm?
- Baseline driving and input patterns
- Gaze behaviour and decision time
- Learning style, workload and practice reality
- Goals and prioritised learning backlog
Outcome: A clear baseline that makes progress measurable and prevents random topic hopping.
Vision & Line
How do you read a corner early enough for line and car placement to become deliberate?
- Gaze technique and visual transitions
- Reference points and corner phases
- Use of track width
- Line selection and correction rules
Outcome: You can structure a circuit methodically instead of merely memorising references.
Braking
How does braking become a controlled process for deceleration, rotation and corner entry?
- Pressure build, peak and ABS
- Release phase and pressure reduction
- Trail braking and rotation
- Brake and steering coordination
Outcome: A repeatable braking foundation with clear exercises and observable criteria.
Academic clarity — without rigid content coverage.
The programme uses learning outcomes, review gates and observable criteria. A topic is not complete because it was explained, but because you can reproduce it.
Starting point
Technical setup, inputs, perception and goals become visible.
Prioritise
Observations are collected without working on everything at once.
Set focus
A learning cycle receives one main objective and a few exercises.
Apply
Live coaching and independent practice alternate deliberately.
Check
Data, replays and repeatability show what is becoming stable.
Adapt
We close, deepen or change the hypothesis.
Understanding is not learning. Repeated execution under defined conditions is what matters.
Technical changes and driving instructions receive observable success criteria.
You work on the next bottleneck with the highest learning value, not on everything at once.
Progress is measured more broadly than a personal best.
Personal bests remain relevant, but they are only one signal. Development appears in repeatability, understanding and transfer.
Technique
Brake pressure, release phase, steering angle, throttle timing and unnecessary input overlap.
Consistency
Lap spread, error frequency, off-tracks and pace through a stint.
Understanding
Can you explain why a change works and when to use it?
Transfer
Does the technique remain available on new circuits, in traffic or under pressure?
Enjoyment
Do you enter more races and rate the experience more positively?
Independence
Can you name an error, test the cause and choose an appropriate exercise?
You receive more than conversation time.
The continuation decision is not based on rapport alone.
Baseline and reviews separate technical change, subjective experience and actual independent work. Unmet objectives are documented and affect the scope or continuation decision.
Before the first learning block
Equipment status, representative data, driving pattern, consistency, self-assessment and available practice time.
After each milestone
What changed, what is only understood, what survives repetition and what requires a new hypothesis?
Continue, change or finish
A positive review is not a reward. It is a professional decision about value, load, fit and the next scope.
A learning rhythm that fits a demanding life.
The plan maintains enough rhythm for progress without ignoring intense work periods, holidays or sensible learning pauses.
Two to three short sessions per week for technical checks, baseline and first core work.
On average one to two live hours per week plus independent practice.
Deepen the braking foundation, test repeatability and prepare the assessment.
Foundation assessment, remaining backlog and a clear recommendation for the next path.
Clear service. Clear boundary.
Premium does not mean unlimited. It means scope, responsibility and outcome architecture are clear before the programme begins.

The first 90 days prove the fit. The long-term decision follows.
The entry phase makes the baseline, training compliance, working relationship and first development evidence reviewable. Only then is the complete Foundation scope accepted or declined.
approximately 12 live hours plus individual analysis and review
credited on continuation as stated in the personal proposal
Full scope per proposal
Which decision is clean for you?
Private Driver Programme – Foundation
The correct first long-term path: technical setup, baseline, vision, line and braking are built fully and formally reviewed after the first 90 days.
Check Foundation Fit →Private Driver Programme – Complete
Not a first option. Complete is offered only after a successfully completed Foundation phase, formal review and mutual continuation decision.
Understand the Long-Term Path →What you should know before deciding
Is Foundation simply a shortened version?
No. It is a complete foundation block with a clear scope boundary. The full curriculum is not compressed superficially.
Can I move to Private Driver Programme – Complete later?
Yes, subject to capacity and continued personal fit. The foundation then remains a robust base; the exact continuation and crediting are agreed individually.
How much practice is required between sessions?
That depends on your schedule and learning progress. Independent practice is necessary, but there is no artificial minimum-hour target. The plan is adapted to realistic training windows.
Is a particular improvement guaranteed?
No. The service is a careful analysis, teaching and development process, not a guaranteed lap time, licence or iRating development.
Is this an academic qualification?
No. The page uses the clarity of a curriculum catalogue, but the offer remains a private sim-racing coaching programme.
Application → diagnosis →
90 days → review.
The application checks the general fit. A paid Performance Diagnostic or equivalent assessment comes before admission. Only then may the 90-day entry phase be offered.
