01 — ORIENTATION

Do not choose by ego or iRating. Choose by the problem that needs solving.

Three starting situations lead to different services. This keeps you from buying too little support — or a programme that is unnecessarily large for the task in front of you.

// ONE CONCRETE PROBLEM

Diagnosis instead of guesswork

You are losing time in one car-and-track combination or dealing with one clearly defined driving issue.

  • Quickscan for a focused asynchronous analysis
  • Performance Diagnostic for cause plus live application
  • No long-term commitment
Compare diagnostics →
// COMPETITION OR PRIVATE DRIVER

Performance under real demands

You are preparing for target events or need long-term private development management with substantial personal responsibility.

  • Competition Programme as a limited pilot
  • Foundation through application, diagnosis and 90 days
  • Complete only after a Foundation review
Understand admission →
Skill level alone does not decide the fit. Practice time, target clarity, purchasing power, independent work, competition context and the economic buyer matter just as much.
02 — YOUR COACH

No alien pace required. Just a clear next step.

I’m Chris Steiner — a certified automotive master technician, project manager and sim racer who built his own path to 4,400 iRating. I work best with ambitious drivers who love sim racing but feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure what to practise next. You get honest feedback, a structured process and coaching that meets you at your current level.

// CLARITY

See what is really costing you time

We separate braking, steering, throttle, line and timing so one messy lap becomes a clear, solvable problem.

// CAUSE → EFFECT

Understand what the car is telling you

Your inputs are connected to rotation, minimum speed, traction and exit. You will know what to change — and what that change is meant to achieve.

// FOCUS

One useful priority beats ten tips

Every analysis ends with a small number of high-impact priorities. You train the change most likely to improve both pace and confidence.

// TRANSFER

Leave with something you can practise

Each priority becomes a practical exercise with a simple success criterion. You will know whether the new habit is actually working.

03 — REAL ANALYSIS EXAMPLE

How telemetry becomes a training plan

This example comes from my own driver development at Spa. It is not a client result or a promise of performance — it simply shows how a vague feeling can become a specific, trainable change.

// Mercedes-AMG GT3 · Spa
2:17.854
→ 2:17.742
First correction: −0.112 s. More improvements followed afterwards.

The main loss was not simply the braking point. The real issue was an abrupt brake release, ABS intervention and the loss of speed that followed into the apex.

// PROBLEM → WIRKUNG → ÜBUNG

Advice only matters when you can train it

01
ProblemToo much brake pressure while turning in, followed by an inconsistent release.
02
EffectABS intervention, less rotation and a lower minimum speed through the technical section.
03
ExerciseRelease the brake progressively, calm the steering input and repeat without chasing the live delta.
04
CheckCompare the brake trace, ABS activity, minimum speed and exit speed after each practice block.
04 — DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

A six-step loop turns advice into a repeatable change.

The curriculum is not a fixed list of topics. Each cycle starts with evidence, limits the focus and checks whether the change survives repetition and pressure.

01 / BASELINE

Diagnose

Equipment, inputs, driving pattern and target become visible.

02 / PRIORITY

Prioritise

Not every error is treated at once. The most relevant bottleneck comes first.

03 / DRILL

Design

The issue becomes a small exercise with one clear success criterion.

04 / APPLY

Apply

Live coaching and independent practice alternate deliberately.

05 / REVIEW

Review

Telemetry, replay, consistency and perception show what changed.

06 / TRANSFER

Transfer

The skill is tested on new corners, longer stints or under pressure.

One primary targetEach cycle has one central problem, not an unlimited wish list.
Evidence over impressionFeeling matters, but it is checked against data and repeatability.
Independence over dependenceThe goal is to make you better at diagnosing and training yourself.
05 — PUBLIC ENTRY POINTS

Choose the smallest level of support that can genuinely solve the problem in front of you.

Four distinct entry points — from one focused diagnosis to a competition-specific development phase. Private long-term programmes use a separate application and review process.

06 — FIT & INDEPENDENT WORK

Coaching only works when both sides do their part.

The right service is not determined by budget alone. Data quality, practice time, target clarity and willingness to apply the work must fit together.

Who the Academy is built for

  • You want to understand causes rather than copy a faster reference.
  • You provide representative data and an honest self-assessment.
  • You schedule fixed practice blocks between sessions — that is where progress happens.
  • You repeat a small number of tasks instead of changing topic constantly.
  • You judge development by consistency, error rate and transfer, not by personal bests alone.
  • You speak up early when time, equipment or execution turn out differently than planned.
  • You work within a clearly defined scope and reliable response channels.
QuickscanGood data is enoughOne representative stint and one clear question.
DiagnosticPreparation + 60 minutesData in advance and readiness to apply changes live.
Sprint2 focused blocks/weekTypically 2–4 hours of independent work per week.
Competition / PrivateAgreed individuallyA reliable practice, data and review routine.
07 — PRIVATE DRIVER PROGRAMME

Long-term development does not start with a year-long commitment.

Private programmes reserve substantial capacity and require reliability on both sides. Admission therefore follows an application, a paid diagnosis, a 90-day entry phase and a formal review.

// CAPACITYOne place — full priorityExactly one private driver programme runs at a time. That client takes priority over every other request — for appointments, analysis time and anything urgent. An application is not an offer or acceptance.
01 / APPLICATIONReview the starting pointGoal, background, time, budget, equipment, training readiness and expectations.
02 / DIAGNOSISPaid fit checkA Performance Diagnostic or equivalent assessment before any private-programme admission.
03 / 90 DAYSEntry phaseTest the baseline, first learning blocks, working relationship and training compliance in practice.
04 / REVIEWContinue or end cleanlyA joint decision based on progress, workload, fit and available capacity.

No direct sales path

The Complete page explains the potential long-term path. It does not contain a direct booking or first-time application process.

// Private Event Preparation

Sim-to-real preparation and debrief are assessed case by case. This is not a substitute for trackside coaching; data quality, vehicle similarity and transfer limits are clarified before acceptance.

// Team Performance System

Multi-driver, reporting and process work is a separate B2B vertical. Its scope and responsibility are not represented through private-customer packages.

08 — HOW IT WORKS

From uncertainty to a clear practice goal

01 / CHOOSE

Pick your starting point

Choose the level of support that feels right. For unusual combinations or bigger goals, send a quick enquiry first.

02 / SHARE

Show me what is happening

Share one representative Garage61 stint and tell me what feels difficult, inconsistent or frustrating.

03 / UNDERSTAND

Find the real cause

We separate your inputs, the car’s response and the actual time loss instead of copying a faster lap without context.

04 / TRAIN

Build a repeatable change

You practise a small number of clear tasks and check whether both the telemetry and the driving feel improve.

RemoteDiscord and Garage61 make personal coaching possible wherever you race.
ReviewableLive sessions can be recorded for your own review. Public use only with separate permission.
One-to-oneYou work directly with Chris — not a rotating coach or anonymous platform.
09 — EVIDENCE STANDARD

No outcome without a baseline. No testimonial without context.

A premium service needs verifiable evidence. Proof is therefore not assembled afterwards from attractive quotes; it is documented from the beginning through baseline, intervention, independent work, outcome and limitations.

// METHOD EVIDENCE

Own data, clearly labelled

The Spa example demonstrates the method and one correction loop. It is explicitly not a client result or a general performance promise.

// CASE RECORD

Before, work, after

  • starting point and data quality
  • primary target and bounded scope
  • intervention and actual independent work
  • quantitative and qualitative change
  • unmet objectives and limitations
// PUBLICATION

No artificial trophy wall

Client cases are published only after a complete baseline and final review, and only with separate permission. Until then there are no invented star ratings, anonymous superlatives or personal bests stripped of context.

Internal Phase 1 standard: every Sprint creates a baseline scorecard, two progress reviews and a final report. Quantitative data, subjective experience and actual practice effort are documented separately.
10 — FAQ

Questions before you start

Which entry point fits me?

Use the Quickscan for one clearly bounded data problem, Performance Diagnostic for cause plus live application, the Sprint for a first structured learning cycle, and the Competition Programme for a defined competitive target. Private Programmes begin only after application and diagnosis.

Why is the live offer called Performance Diagnostic?

Because you are not buying only 60 minutes of conversation. It includes data preparation, a clear cause-and-error hypothesis, live observation and a written training protocol.

What is the difference between the Sprint and Competition Programme?

The Sprint covers one development cycle over six to eight weeks. The Competition Programme runs for twelve weeks and integrates qualifying, race pace, racecraft, error rate and two defined target events.

How do I enter the Private Driver Programme – Foundation?

After the application, a paid Performance Diagnostic or equivalent assessment comes first. Where the initial fit is sound, a defined 90-day entry phase begins. Only the following formal review decides whether the full programme continues.

What happens after the first 90 days?

We review competence development, training compliance, the working relationship, time demand, data quality and mutual fit. The programme then ends cleanly or continues with a confirmed or revised scope. Any credit is governed by the personal proposal.

Can I book Private Driver Programme – Complete directly?

No. Complete is available only as a possible continuation after a successfully completed Foundation phase, a formal review, available capacity and a mutual continuation decision.

Is this a subscription?

No. Standard offers and Private Programmes do not renew automatically. Private Programmes are governed by the individual agreement, its review and termination rules, and the Coaching Terms.

Which software do I need?

The current core process uses iRacing, Discord and Garage61. Other simulators or unusual vehicle classes are assessed before acceptance.

Are live sessions recorded?

Only after prior information and consent. Public use of your name, image, voice or performance data requires a separate explicit agreement.

Is a particular improvement guaranteed?

No. The agreed analysis, training and review process is provided, not a particular lap time, licence, result, career opportunity or iRating development.

The next step depends on
what you actually need.

A short enquiry is sufficient for standard offers. Competition and Private Programmes also require information about your target, time, budget, equipment, training readiness and expectations. An enquiry is not a contract.

Standard offersQuickscan, Performance Diagnostic and Sprint are matched to the concrete problem.
Competition & PrivateAdmission follows a documented fit review; Private Programmes also require a paid diagnosis and 90-day entry phase.
